Twice a week (Tuesday) and Thursdays) we will have reading group rotations. Due to schedule changes it may not be possible to adhere to this schedule consistently every week.

They will consist of:

1. Daily Language IWB Activity - Students will work through a variety of language related problems on the IWB
2. Building my Vocabulary - Students will add to their Vocabulary Journals by selecting one word to illustrate and define, sharing it and also adding each of the group's words to their journal with definitions.
3. Understanding What I Read - Students will read a passage and apply reading strategies to answer the questions.
4. Reading/Media/Conference Time - Students will meet with the teacher for 5 minutes for individual assessments and notebook/journal checks
5. Infusing Educational Technology -Wiki/Blog Posting - Students will select a journal entry to post one day and experiment with other web based communications tools including the iPad.
