Welcome to My Space Station!

This is a real workspace for Ms Shields', Ms. Allen's and Mr. Schonberg's 5th Grade Team of Students!  All students will be able to edit this page, create new pages, and invite others to view this workspace. This is a work in progress and will grow throughout the course of the year.  It will contain pictures,movies, tables, audio and anything we can upload to share.

Student/Parent User Contract

• The first day of school students will bring home their user agreements.  Please read them aloud with your child, discuss the rules and reasons. Sign and return the contract.  Once I receive a contract, I will supply a user name and password for your child. Smiles. 

What's in it for parents?

• Weekly activity summary will be available so you can ask your students specific questions about their day.
• Important dates will be posted.
• Homework will be posted, although it is fairly routine: Spelling contract and math practice along with 20 minutes of reading and one other task. 
• You will be able to see the inner workings of the classroom.  All postings are raw, and relatively unedited as most of the writing we do is to practice specific elements of writing. Students will have folders for their individual work.
• Ms. Allen and I plan to collaborate through the wiki to support student success in both classrooms.
